Today we conclude the book of Nehemiah and our entire Uprooted series. Our reading has two parts:
1. Another worship service, filled with Thanksgiving
2. A disappointing conclusion
Why would the Old Testament timeline end on such a bittersweet note? Plot twist: this was never meant to be the finale. This part of the story was always meant to point forward toward the true redemption to come.
