This Is Fine—Jacob's Struggle

Good morning, Echo Church!

It’s so good to have you back here again for another week of worshiping together. Join us in hearing from Kelly, worshiping in song, and getting some updates from missionaries we support here and around the world. Then join us on Zoom at 11am.

MISSIONARY UPDATE FROM THE U.S.

Two of our missionaries will be familiar to those of you who regularly attend Echo Church. Katie and Mikey Evans report that they are doing pretty well and continue to know God's goodness.

Katie's current work with Back2Back Cincinnati involves connecting with the families they serve through online tutoring and mentoring, delivering food and care packages, and helping create safe boundaries for virtual connection.

Mikeyy's current work with Back2Back Ministries involves using his video editing skills as a means of keeping others informed about how COVID-19 is affecting Back2Back's various ministry sites. Mikeyy has also been helping create content for kids to utilize as a means of staying connected while at home.

Every gift you give to Echo helps support missionaries like Katie & Mikeyy. If you know anyone interested in financially supporting them directly or you'd like to learn more about their work at Back2Back Ministries, reach out: kevans@back2back.org or mevans@back2back.org

ECHO KIDS

For the next few weeks, the Echo Kids section will feature a retelling of some of the stories Jesus told during His ministry. These readings of Jesus’ parables will feature narration and illustrations by some familiar teachers and students of the Echo Kids community.  This week's story is based on the parable of the lost son, found in Luke 15:11-32.

“The Lost Son” - Narrated by Brooklyn Duckeck, Illustrated by Sydney Gee
