New Normal—Daniel 2

Good Day to you, Echo Church.

Thank you for joining us for outdoor worship in a back yard, and/or on this lovely page of web. Let’s dig in to Daniel 2 together!

For our online worship in music this morning, I’m pointing us to another song we’ve never done at Echo. I think it fits well with the theme we find in Daniel 2 of the Kingdom of God coming in this world and the part we have to play in inviting and participating in it. May this be a reminder and a call to your spirit this morning to be part of the tangible evidence of Kingdom come. - Dillon

Let my heart be a temple
Let that temple have a throne
Let the one who sits upon it
Be You and You alone

I surrender my ambitions
I lay down all my pride
That I would be Your servant
And You would be my God

Let Your will be done in me
Let Your kingdom come in me
In my life, Lord
Let it be as it is in heaven

Like a battle weary soldier
I'm lifting up my hands
In absolute surrender
My life, my will, my plans

And Yours will be the glory
The honor and the fame
And this will be my story
Lifting high Your name

I lift my hands, and say that I need You
I lift my heart, and say that I love You
I give my life God, I am forever Yours

Let Your will be done in me
Let Your kingdom come in me
In my life, Lord
Let it be as it is in heaven

Be enthroned upon our hearts
Take control of every part
Be the King of all we are
O God in heaven

I lift my hands, and say that I need You
I lift my heart, and say that I love You
I give my life; oh, I am forever Yours

ECHO KIDS

Parents,

We will continue this week with another song which encourages us to follow the second greatest commandment given by Jesus in Matthew 22: Love your neighbor as yourself. Today, I hope you all can enjoy singing along with "This Little Light of Mine" and reflect on our role to be light in a dark world.

Kids,

In the book of Matthew, Jesus calls his followers "the light of the world." He encourages them to shine brightly so that others will see the good in their lives and praise God because of it. I hope you all can find ways to bring hope and joy to the many people in your own lives, bringing glory to God!
