Behind the Scenes | Acts 19
Good morning, Echo! As you know, due to precautions we are taking with the coronavirus health concerns, we are not meeting in person this week. But it is still valuable to continue our worship together in any way we can.
Watch the video below and pray with us. Then continue down the page for a reflection through music.
Worship in Music
Worshiping and connecting with God through music is not something we take lightly. While we cannot be together singing in the same space today, I think we have an opportunity to participate in and experience this part of worship in a little different way this week.
Below is a video of “Build My Life.” We sang it together last Sunday. This song has been resonating a lot with me lately as a reminder that no matter what is happening around us (or even in us), we are called to anchor ourselves in the unchanging truth of God’s position: over everything—always. Christ’s place as our cornerstone offers us a love and peace to get us through any situation without the need for panic or instability.
Take a few minutes to listen and reflect on this, re-center yourself on His foundation of truth and love, and be on the lookout for ways this week where you can help others do the same.

Matthew 7:24-25
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
Isaiah 28:16
So this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone,
a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation;
the one who relies on it
will never be stricken with panic.”
