Behind the Scenes | Acts 20
Good morning, Echo Church! Thank you for joining us again this week as we worship together in this unique way. Play the video below to join in singing together and listening as Steve brings a message from Acts 20.
After the video, you’ll find some announcements with helpful links, including a post-video digital meet-up. Those of us with small ones can check out the Echo Kids section where we will have a word from Kendra and fun craft to do!

ECHO KIDS
(Parents of little ones, feel free to read this to them):
Echo kids,
I hope you are all staying healthy and happy as you spend some extra time at home. I thought it would be fun to give you a weekly craft challenge that goes along with our Bible story. Elementary kids, I challenge you to kick this craft up a notch by making it life-size. Do this in whatever way you’d like—get creative with it!
I miss seeing all of your lovely faces and hope we can see each other again soon to make crafts, sing songs and play games together!
—Kendra
Parents: All the craft supplies for these weekly activities will be items you can generally find laying around the house. Feel free to improvise on supplies as needed or desired. Your child can feel free to make it their own with things like crayons, stickers or maybe even some glitter if you’re feeling brave? Here you see a picture of one of our Echo kids, with the necessary craft supplies, as well as a video (below) of her explaining a little about the craft and Bible story.
This week’s craft inspiration comes from the story of Eutychus in Acts 20 and is based on a craft from the blog He Bids Them Come. An old pasta box was used for the window. In hindsight, I would have left the sides on the box to offer a little more stability, but it worked fine as is. Eutychus is represented by a paper peg doll. We used scrap paper for this. I cut a small slit in the bottom of the doll to allow Eutychus to be propped up on the windowsill. Lastly, the doll is taped to a string and the string is taped to the backside of the pasta box.
Be sure to post videos/pictures of your child’s creation to the Echo Church Group Facebook page. Have fun!
